Video Scuba diving Cayman Islands



Scuba diving in the Cayman Islands enjoys a reputation around the world for being first class and features highly on most lists of top ten dive sites from around the world. The waters around the Cayman Islands are clear and pristine and it is not unusual to enjoy visibility of more than one hundred feet this combined with the diversity of sea life make the Cayman Islands the perfect place for snorkeling and Scuba diving. Whilst Scuba diving and even snorkeling in the Cayman Islands it is not uncommon to sea a variety of Turtles, many different types of fish, sharks & occasionally dolphins but Stingrays are the sea creature for which the Cayman Islands are perhaps best known. There are numerous dive operators in the Cayman Islands offering both shore and boat dives in Grand Cayman as well as The Sister Islands: Cayman Brac and Little Cayman. Grand Cayman now offers a wreck dive in the decommissioned and recently sunk USS Kittiwake the ship has five deck levels is two hundred and fifty one feet long sitting in around sixty feet of water with the top of the helm only 8' from the surface so easily visible to snorkelers also.

  1. What a nice post on cayman scuba! I am an expert scuba diver but hardly find an adequate place to satisfy my hunger for this I was just looking for a game “island wonders” when I landed up on this post of yours, and kept read it until it ended, superb work bro, I will be there in couple of months, may be on our college’s academic tour, I am not sure but I can at least recommend them this wonderful island, I want to know more on what to do in cayman along with your group?
